Welcome to Zarovah Safaris. By booking a tour, safari package, transport service, accommodation, or any travel-related service with Zarovah Safaris, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Booking and Reservations
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Zarovah Safaris.
A booking shall only be considered confirmed upon:
Submission of required booking information
Payment of the required deposit
Receipt of confirmation from Zarovah Safaris
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all personal details provided during booking are accurate.
2. Payments
A deposit of [insert percentage, e.g., 30%–50%] of the total booking cost may be required to confirm reservations.
Full payment must be completed before the commencement of the safari or as agreed in writing.
Payments may be made through approved payment methods including bank transfer, mobile money, card payments, or any other approved methods.
Failure to complete payment within the agreed timelines may result in cancellation of the booking.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Refunds may be processed as follows:
More than 30 days before departure: Full refund less administrative charges
15–30 days before departure: 50% refund
Less than 15 days before departure: No refund
Refund timelines may vary depending on third-party suppliers and financial institutions.
4. Changes and Amendments
Clients requesting changes to confirmed bookings may incur additional charges depending on the nature of the modifications.
Zarovah Safaris reserves the right to alter itineraries, accommodations, transportation arrangements, or schedules due to:
Weather conditions
Safety concerns
Government regulations
Supplier availability
Circumstances beyond reasonable control
Reasonable alternatives shall be provided where possible.
5. Travel Documentation
Clients are responsible for obtaining and carrying:
Valid passports
Identification documents
Visas
Vaccination certificates
Travel permits
Any other required travel documentation
Zarovah Safaris shall not be responsible for denied entry, delays, or penalties resulting from incomplete or invalid documentation.
6. Health and Medical Conditions
Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, physical limitations, or special requirements before travel.
Clients are responsible for carrying their own medications and ensuring they are medically fit to participate in safari activities.
7. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and should include:
Medical expenses
Emergency evacuation
Personal accident coverage
Trip cancellation
Loss of luggage or personal belongings
Zarovah Safaris shall not be liable for losses that could reasonably be covered by insurance.
8. Liability
Zarovah Safaris acts as an intermediary between clients and independent suppliers including hotels, airlines, transport providers, and other service providers.
While reasonable care is taken in arranging services, Zarovah Safaris shall not be liable for:
Injury
Illness
Delays
Accidents
Loss of property
Acts of nature
Political unrest
Force majeure events
Any circumstances beyond its control
Participation in safari activities is at the client's own risk.
9. Client Conduct
Clients are expected to:
Follow instructions from guides and staff
Respect wildlife and environmental regulations
Respect local communities and cultures
Avoid behavior that may endanger others
Zarovah Safaris reserves the right to terminate participation without refund where a client’s conduct is disruptive, dangerous, unlawful, or inappropriate.
10. Photography and Marketing
Unless otherwise requested in writing, Zarovah Safaris may use photographs or videos taken during tours for promotional and marketing purposes.
Clients who do not wish to appear in such materials should notify Zarovah Safaris in advance.
11. Privacy Policy
Personal information collected during bookings will be used only for operational, communication, and legal purposes and will be handled with reasonable confidentiality.
Zarovah Safaris shall not sell or unlawfully disclose client information to third parties.
12. Force Majeure
Zarovah Safaris shall not be held liable for delays, changes, cancellations, or inability to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control including:
Natural disasters
Floods
Pandemics
Government restrictions
Strikes
Political instability
Terrorism
Civil unrest
13. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya.
Any disputes arising shall first be resolved through mutual consultation and, where necessary, through the competent courts of Kenya.
